Description

Readers' Circle is an initiation of Mentorship Pathway designed to help participants develop critical thinking and articulatory skills. The program encompasses self-awareness, empathy, and people skills components of emotional intelligence. Anyone who finds it hard to put forth his/her perspectives in a group setting will find the sessions beneficial. Entry is free of cost, but participants will need to register prior at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1nITCTlVFGVJ8ItQNq4m_DXvaNi0PPWvTb75Wkmhr2MI/edit To ensure better quality discussions and feedback, we accept registrations from 10 participants only. The people who have already filled the forms previously can simply drop us a message on our page. The first 10 participants to reach us via email or message will be sent a confirmation e-mail. In the 12th session of Readers' Circle, we held a discussion on empathizing with our future old selves. The participants went through the text, "A Letter To My Future Old Self"' and expressed their perspectives on it. Imagining their future selves to be sitting in front of them, participants expressed three things they would like to tell them. In pair discussion activity, participants asked each other critical questions relating to the subject matter of the text. Each one of them also shared 3 questions that they had raised in the discussion. Reflecting on the session, in the end, everyone shared one thing that stood out for them and one thing that could have been better. In the coming session, we will have a discussion based on a podcast - something which we have never done so far. The theme is 'development of unusual friendship which is hard to tell from love'.
