Our ability to solve problems is one of the most important skills we learn in life and we use it a greater or lesser degree everyday. Many expert’s and leader’s although very strong in their domain area, often are not able to push their idea forward, however compelling it be, simply because they lack skills to present in both formal and informal setup. The workshop is aimed at understanding the importance of structured approach to fact finding and solution development, increase buy-in from stakeholders in conflicting environment and develop a learning culture for further career growth. Who should attend? Any professional who currently is / or soon will be dealing in multi stakeholder environment in Leadership, Managerial, Advisory, Consultative Sales & Presales, Marketing, Development and Entrepreneurial roles that includes problem solving or providing expert advice based on research and due diligence . Aim of the Workshop  Learn systematic approaches to identify work improvements and developing a plan  Learn and apply structured problem solving skills and frameworks using proven methodologies  Getting Buy-in from stakeholders, receiving feedback from leaders in a multi-disciplinary team environment  Evaluate your skills and identify development needs in your domain area Key Benefits of Attending Helping Participant’s understand the systematic approach to problem solving that is sustainable and gain stakeholder buy-in in the most effective and professional manner. By raising awareness on the need of systematic approach to management or business improvement and application of proven tested models, participant’s will be able to use their subject knowledge in the most effective way in proposing solutions to internal or external stakeholders. By identifying valued behavioral traits in consulting and problem solving activities, participant’s will be equipped to use appropriate communication and co-creation skills in managing feedback and stakeholder resistance. Participant’s will be able to understand critical components of solution development as well as design practical interventions focused on minimizing resistance and maximizing buy-in. This workshop also aims to evaluate skills and identify development needs in participant’s domain area. Participant’s will use templates and consultant playbook to map their career trajectory in their area of interest. The work shop will revolve around two case studies which will be used for framing problem , data Collection, analysis and presentation based on proven framework and structured thinking. The same case study will be used to present recommendation to the stakeholders and in the process identify ways to accept and challenge feedbacks and resistance in the most professional and effective way. The entire case study exercise will delivered via group break-out sessions, business simulations, , discovery tools and role plays. First Avocado prides itself in creating unique discovery tools that is highly experiential in nature. It is strongly encouraged for participants to bring their own case within their area of domain to this workshop. Throughout the workshop, participants can relate what they learn back to their daily practice which will help them to better understand what in their particular case study would help reduce resistance and maximize buy-in.
