Would you like to learn to swing dance? KJC -Lindy Hop new course will be starting the second week of January! We are offering a free class for beginners to learn the basics of the dance. If you are curious about it, have interest in trying a fun and friendly activity, and want to join the big community of dancers in Kathmandu, the time is now! What is Lindy hop? Lindy Hop is a partner dance that originated in 1920's and 30's Harlem, New York. The Dance itself consists of both 8 and 6 count steps and it includes fun footwork borrowed from the Charleston and Tap. Classes are open to dancers of all ages, no partner or experience required.The most important aspect of it is to go with the flow of music and enjoy it! When?
